Our Overseas Mission

We are a UK charity with a mission to support underprivileged children and young people overseas, providing tangible items requested by the children's carers.

Our Home Mission

"It is more blessed to give than to receive." (Acts 20:35) We want to play a part in blessing you, so we invite you to support a specific project, and we provide "before" and "after" photos so you can see what your donation has helped accomplish. More than that, Jesus said, "Store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal." (Matthew 6:20)

100% of the money you give goes to the project you're supporting! Nothing is taken out for our administration, transaction fees, etc.

How do we do that?

Current Projects
uniform & stationery

IRINGA STREET CHILDREN

Providing uniform and stationery to enable children to attend school, Bibles and musical instruments to help them in their worship together, sewing machines to give them their own means of support, vocational training, football boots, and laundry detergent to wash their kit.

Adapting to the Coronavirus pandemic by enhancing facilities and changing operating methods.

TOOLS FOR SELF-RELIANCE

Provide kits of refurbished carpentry tools to five locations in Malawi. These will be used to give vocational training to young people, and to help them start up in business.

Covid-19 is delaying refurbishment of tools, though a way forward is being investigated. Also, the projects in Malawi are on hold because of the virus, although the situation is under constant review.

LIFE-SKILLS THROUGH SPORT

Life-skills, through the medium of sport, for the 'fatherless generation' in South Africa - providing prizes, equipment and kit - balls, Bibles, slalom poles, socks and boots - for holiday clubs and weekly coaching.

South Africa is under Coronavirus lockdown, so the normal work has stopped. However, just before the lockdown, the staff had made provision to keep in touch with parents and provide activities for the children.

CURRENT DONATIONS

Having reached our fundraising objectives for the above three projects, current donations will be held in our 'Where Needed Most' Fund. This money will be used to extend those projects, or to maintain them (e.g. to help with their coronavirus response), or to fund a new project.
