for underprivileged children and young people overseas
Our Overseas Mission
We are a UK charity with a mission to support underprivileged children and young people overseas, providing tangible items requested by the children's carers.
Current Project
IRINGA STREET CHILDREN
A British charity, FISCH, is working in Iringa to improve the lot of these children by providing a Drop-In Centre. Our supporters set out to pay for Bibles and musical instruments to help the children in their worship together, sewing machines to give them their own means of support, and laundry detergent to wash their football kit! But they far exceeded their target!
Upcoming Projects
The following potential projects are being considered at the moment:
-
Blood-pressure monitors for expectant mothers in Sierra Leone (subject to successful field testing in the coming months)
-
Gardening and/or carpentry tools for underprivileged young people overseas
Last Completed Project
MUSIC IN AFRICA
We raised money to buy musical instruments to enable an African mission worker to start a music ministry with disadvantaged children and young people.
Virtually 100% of the money you give goes to the project! For details see our policies see here.

Our Home Mission
"It is more blessed to give than to receive." (Acts 20:35) We want to play a part in blessing you, so we invite you to support a specific project, and we provide "before" and "after" photos so you can see what your donation has helped accomplish. We have no paid staff, no premises and we bear all our expenses* ourselves, so 100% of the money you give will go towards our current project (except that if the current project becomes over-subscribed we will put the excess towards the next project.)
*For details of our financial policy see About.
